I’m pleased to announce Momentory v2.0, a big update to the mindful journaling app.
Refreshed Look
“Today”, “Gratitude”, “Worry”, and “Journal” tabs are now consolidated to a single screen to simplify your journaling experience. Now you can just scroll down to find all of your entries without having to hop between tabs.
Still want to be able to focus on just gratitude or worry? The new focus menu (circle button at the top right) allows you to filter your journal, so you can focus on expressing gratitude, releasing worry, weekly reflections, or free writing.
Improved Settings
Adjusting goals and reminders should be much easier in version 2.0. Also, you can change which entry types you want emphasized to further personalize your journal. Don’t want to do worry journaling at all? You can now hide the worry section. Want to focus mostly on free-write entries, you can now change the order so those entries are on top.
More Features Now Free
Almost all features are now available for no charge, including free-write, weekly reflections, worry challenges, and 7 categories. Additional categories now available for purchase for just $2.
Momentory is stopping all subscriptions for the time being. If you subscribed to Momentory+, your subscription should stop and you will have all features unlocked for no additional charge. If you can, please check the App Store or Play Store to verify this is the case.
More to Come
The 2.0 redesign lays the foundation for further improvements to Momentory in the future. Some things I’m thinking about:
Ability to set daily or weekly intentions
Biometric (FaceID) unlock
Widgets
Prompts
